ME AND THE HANDBIKE
In the beginning of July 2004 I have managed to acquire my first racing handbike with the support of my family. I have fallen in love with the sport straight away and really began to work on myself.
I got my first racing appearance out of the way still in October 2004 - I participated in the final competition of the European EHC cup (European Handbike Circuit) in Vienna and that was the very moment my competitive career started.
I have been a member of the club Handbike ČR and the Czech representation in the EHC series (European Handbike Circuit) since January 2005. Besides EHC competitions I also participate in some international city marathons and other national NHC competitions (National Handbike Circuit).
Since September 2007 I have been competing for Cykloklub Příbram - CK Windoor’s Příbram.
I have been a member of the broader national representation since January 2008.
Achievments in 2011:

Beside the achievements on the race tracks, I have been awarded the Prize of the city Dobříš for significant achievements in athletics (Cenu města Dobříše za významné úspěchy v oblasti sportu) by the mayor of the city.

- 11th place in the WHF World Cup Series (total ranking in the HC-C1 division)
- 2nd place at the Czech Republic Championships (HC-C)

- 9th place in the EHC Zolder RR (HC-C1)

- 5th place in the Milano City Marathon (handbike category)
- 20th place at the World Championships WHF Parabiago RR (HC-C1)
- 18th place at the World Championships WHF Parabiago TT (HC-C1)
Beside the achievements on the race tracks, I have placed 3rd in the poll „Athlete of the Central-Bohemian region 2007“ („Sportovec Středočeského kraje 2007“) in the handicapped athlete category.

Achievements in 2004:
After a serious accident I returned to the race tracks as a handicapped athlete.
My current goal is to remain fully dedicated to this sport and to participate in national and European competitions on a regular basis.
